NeuMind Introduces

Evaluaciones Psicologicas

NeuMind Wellness Group is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders by giving them the help they need to thrive.

This is why NeuMind is pleased to announce we will now be offering Psychological Testing!

Psychological Testing by our Clinical Psychologist can provide a better snapshot into what you or your child may be experiencing such as how one learns, thinks, and behaves. The testing helps determine the explanation, severity, and duration of your symptoms and provides a comprehensive impression of a person’s current functioning for targeted interventions and treatments.

Psychological Testing for children can be utilized to determine areas your child might be struggling with such as: learning, developmental, or behavior problems/issues.  Children who are diagnosed with learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or intellectual disabilities may be eligible for extra support in school and in the community. We know you care about your children and want what is best for them in all areas. That’s why you are here. Let us help support you and your family!

A part of our Psychological Testing package will be to provide you with an individualized evaluation and report that you can use for potential follow-up care or recommendations.  We are here to walk alongside you in this journey and want to help you meet your needs.

The payment method for our Psychological Evaluations is solely SELF PAY at present time. We do not bill insurances for this. we do offer self-pay packages. Please contact us for more information.

Evaluations and Tests that we are currently offering:

Psychoeducational Assessment

$1,300.00

When you, your child and school staff reach levels of frustration due to lack of options and strategies to help with your child’s education, psychoeducational testing assessment could be the answer. These evaluations look at strengths and weaknesses across various levels in the academic realm, as well as evaluate various forms of attention, processing, and memory. These evaluations allow you to have a better understanding if learning disabilities or mental health issues are creating issues within various aspects of your child’s life. Psychoeducational Evaluations assess strengths and weakness in academic subjects such as (reading, math, and writing), learning style, as well as visual and auditory, memory, processing, and concentration.

Knowledge truly is power here, the more information you have, the better decisions you can make for their wellbeing. These tests may allow you to see how pursuing accommodations at school to have a better wrap around experience for your child may prove beneficial.

A psychoeducational evaluation consists of various testing such as IQ, achievement tests, social/emotional/and behavioral scales, and executive functioning. The evaluation can help provide a more comprehensive understanding of areas ranging from ADHD to dyslexia to Autism. Involves a student's intelligence and academic performance. Helps identify how an individual learns, what their strengths and weaknesses are, as well as identify diagnoses related to Specific Learning Disabilities (lecture, writing and math).

Psychometric Assessment, Woodcock Johnson IV, BASC-3, Conners-3

ADD/ADHD Evaluations

Our evaluations can assist in identifying if ADD/ADHD is something you or your child are dealing with and together identify solutions in assisting with the same.

ADD/ADHD for school purposes

$2,000.00

Dealing with inattention, compulsive behaviors and/or lack of focus is very difficult regardless of age. For kids, it could mean bad grades, being labeled with conduct issues, often getting notes sent home regarding behavior or class performance, trouble making and keeping friends, and the list continues.

An evaluation will allow you to have further understanding of what your child is dealing with and help you with seeing your child thrive in all areas.

Our school/academic-related evaluations comply with the testing requirements of public schools, universities, and national standardized testing services for those seeking accommodations. This makes it a lengthier evaluation and accounts for the difference in cost. Regarding school accommodations such as IEP’s, there is no guarantee the school will use our evaluation, but school systems often consider the evaluations when making decisions.

ADD/ADHD for non-school related

$1,500.00

The impact of ADD/ADHD is far reaching and goes beyond the school age years. If you feel that your work and home life are impacted by ADD/ADHD symptoms such as having too many tasks started and never finishing, job performance declining, trouble with organization, restlessness, time management skills, etc., then this evaluation is for you.

  • Development Testing (e.g. social and communication skills)

In the evaluation of adaptive functioning, we also gather outside information from family on how daily functioning skills are being achieved. This can be helpful in determining intellectual disability and autism.

The ADOS-2 is used to identify the person’s social and communication skills to determine Autism. The ADOS-2 is a go to for this type of evaluation. What sets us apart is that not all organizations offer this important test.  NeuMind includes this test in our psychoeducational assessments.
