Dr. Pete Carrasquillo

Dr. Pete Carrasquillo is CEO and Co-Founder of NeuMind Wellness Group. He is a Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. He holds an earned Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with Capella University, and an earned Doctorate degree with Christian Counseling Northwestern Theological Seminary. A Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Psychology with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Southeastern University in Lakeland Florida.

Dr. Carrasquillo comes to counseling with a life experience as an ordained minister. He is currently involved in Chaplaincy with several local and international organizations, and is the author of “Chaplaincy-The Gift of Serving”. He was the previous associate Pastor at a local community church in Clermont FL as well as Director of Chaplaincy for the Southwest Region of IDPMI the state of Florida for over 5 years. He has a background experience that includes 9 years as the COO for an interstate financial corporation.

In therapy he counsels children, adolescents, adults, marriages and families who are experiencing life transitions and needing support during these difficult times. He is fully bilingual, and able to conduct sessions both in English and Spanish.

Dr. Carrasquillo’s philosophy is to empower families, couples and individuals to overcome personal obstacles that keep them from living the healthy life they deserve. One of his many goals in counseling is to walk alongside his clients, and improve their personal lives or relationships using clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions.
