Maritza is a Registered Mental Health Inter-Counselor in the State of Florida. She has a master's degree in Psychological Counseling from the Ana G. Méndez University (UMET), in Puerto Rico. She is currently working towards a full license with NeuMind Wellness Group.

Maritza has experience working in mental health settings providing services to individuals and couples dealing with challenges including depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and more.

Maritza has provided services to children and adolescents facing challenges including ADHD, anger management issues, adjustment, and more.

Maritza enjoys working through an integrative approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and a person-centered approach. She is dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and adults helping them to overcome their emotional situations. Her greatest satisfaction is that her clients reach acceptable emotional stability.
